WORKSHOP ON ENDOSCOPIC THYROIDECTOMY VIA AXILLARY APPROACH

Dr. Òscar Vidal was invited, as an expert in thyroid surgery without visible scars to this theoretical-practical day that was organised in the Hospital Mútua de Terrassa on January 29th. During the Workshop, two transaxillary thyroidectomies were performed with the prestigious surgeon Dr. Jaime Vilaça. This state-of-the-art endoscopic approach allows the removal of thyroid tumours through the axilla. This operation leaves no visible scars on the neck.
