On May 25th, World Thyroid Day, Dr. Oscar Vidal and Dr. J. Vilaça organised and co-directed an international day on the advances in the diagnosis and treatment of thyroid diseases, which included the most relevant world-renowned specialists in the field of thyroid surgery. This Masterclass, which brought together more than 150 experts from different parts of the globe, intended to be a benchmark regarding new diagnostic tests and the latest innovations in minimally invasive surgery for the treatment of thyroid tumours, as well as the training platform needed to disseminate the latest surgical approaches.
