STRATEGIC MEETING ON THYROID SURGERY

On September 10th, Dr. Oscar Vidal attended the Rey Juan Carlos University Hospital to participate in the Interdepartmental Meeting organised by Prof. Manuel Duran. The aim of the meeting was to share the joint strategies to be followed in the area of Endocrine Surgery between the aforementioned hospital and the Clinic Hospital of Barcelona. During this session the most controversial and state-of-the-art points of the surgical treatment of thyroid diseases were discussed, as well as the implementation of different protocols concerning thyroid cancer, a pathology in which both Dr. Duran, and Dr. Oscar Vidal are experts and the hospitals where they work are national and international benchmarks.
