DR OSCAR VIDAL, INTERNATIONALLY RENOWNED EXPERT IN THYROID SURGERY

The Hospital Clinic received the visit of Prof. Julio Jordan, Clinical Head of the Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria de Tenerife University Hospital, with the aim of learning more about the groundbreaking endoscopic approach for operating on the thyroid gland. Special focus was made on the the Transaxillary Endoscopic Thyroidectomy, a technique in which our hospital, represented by Dr. Oscar Vidal of the Endocrine Surgery Unit of the General and Digestive Surgery Department, is a pioneer and an international benchmark.
